Why do you like Guys?

Haha.. I found this thread on one of the AJ Forums, on "Why do you like Guys"?

This are a few of the findings.. lolz

1) I do not have any attractions to girls

2) Guys understand guys better

3) Two guys can entertain each other better then a guy and a girl *(in more aspacts then what most people think)

4) Going dutch is the default option for most of the first dates, unless one offers to pay

5) You dont have to act the gentleman

6) Basketball, street-soccer, waterpolo, gymming, tennis. Need I say more?

7) They hug better then girls

8) They're far more warmer

9) When faced with a problem, most guys dare to confront it rather then pout and whine

10) You just have to love a guy that is trying his best to please you all the time

11) The look of bewilderment when he doesn't know his mistake

12) The rusty voice guys have when they juz woke up

13) The sense of security where onli men can prvide, not women

14) The stupid things guys will do for you when they are in love with you

15) A certain charming smile that onli guys have which will melt ur heart

16) Guys are normally more humorous than gals

17) Men are less conservative than women, which means we get to see more guys naked in boys toilet rather than seeing more women naked in gals toilet (haha.. the person who posted this is quite ... *cough*)

18) Guys turn into a warm teddy bear at night

19) Guys like body contact

20) The of intense concern in their eyes when they know something has gone wrong

haha...

I could write a thesis about this.. but I agree with what most of the people said above... Guys ARE lovable...
see?

haha xP

So to all those girls (or guys) that can't treasure their boyfriends, think again and maybe you'll appreciate how a guy is...

boyz rule.

Sometimes, I get so paranoid and start thinking that I've no true friends...

Lol... Then I realize that if everybody start thinking that way, nobody will really be believing that I'm truly out to make friends with them...

then the world will be in chaos...

haha!

I love my friends...

=D

I've just came back from one of those bi-semesterly SP-AJ gatherings... We went to this really wierd cafe called "Settler's Cafe", guess what, it's actually a place where people go there and play board games, card games and chill out...

pretty cool, the entire concept... other then the fact that the food there wasn't the most excellent in the world...

We met up with 2 of the new guys who were just posted to SP... Pretty cool, these people... haha... I thought that one of them was quite cute...

nerd-cute

haha...

I alwayz had a soft spot for people who look a bit studious... but some of these looks can be deceiving.... some of them can actually have quite a sharp tongue...

lol... the things that come with intellect...

sigh. And I miss the corporate communications conference for this outing... Sometimes, I think I get my priorities all mixed up... The exposure I could have got could have been tremendous...

*hops around*

I've got so many things to do.. It's kinda killing me....

HA! but I still have time for games, fortunately... its my holidays dearies... don't take my games away already...

*You're not fat.*
*You're never fat.*
*You're getting too paranoid*

*...*

*hugglez* =D

Passing Time

Phew! This must be the longest interval between any blog post that I made...

Time has not really been on my side recently.. I've been going out so often that my mum actually made a comment like : "You're still having school meh? I thought it is your holiday now."

haha... see the amount of time I spend outside..

Gnaah.. having a slight fever now... I actually slept for a record long of 11 hours... The longest time I spent sleeping this year...
I woke up feeling like an 80 year old senior citizen... sigh.. and when I looked at my clock, it pointed at 1...

1 pm

omg... I actually slept through the morning.. sinful Andrew.. utterly horrendous..

Oh yes.... I got quite terrible results for this semester... With an aggregate of below 3...
Still, I have a number of Bs to smile for...

Whatever it is, I want to forget (oh.. actually I have already forgotten), the marks that I got for this semester, so people, don't question me already =)

****

remember about a week ago, I wrote about my Sunday school Teacher who was in hospital?
she finally returned back to be with Father last friday...

The expression that I saw on my mum's face when she got that message from my father was undescribable..... blank, yet with an obivious expression of shock and sadness...

My teacher, Nicholas' and Victor's teacher, and the Sunday school teacher of so many hundreds of children... has finally returned back to the arms of God for a rest well deserved..

... the thing about teachers is that like it or not, whether you intentionally want to make an impact in the life of a student is not a choice... Teachers are individuals that leave footprints in the hearts of all who have been students..
Be it negetively or postively, teachers have done it...

Auntie Seok Keow *(or teacher Seok Keow) has impacted my life with courage and determination...
Firstly, to prioritise my life and set it straight for God.
Secondly, to serve God wholeheartedly and in every aspact I can.
Thirdly, to love children in every measure possible like she did.

A great servent of God has run her race of life faithfully and mightily... Her rewards will be worth every effort that she did on earth...

Thank you teacher, for everything.

A Tale of 2 Frogs

A group of frogs was traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit. All the other frogs gathered around the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead.

The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit with all of their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead. Finally, one of the frogs took heed of what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He lay down and died.

The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, "Did you not hear us?" The frog explained to them that he was almost deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.

This story teaches two lessons:

1. The tongue has the power of life and death. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift him or her up and help that person make it through the day.

2. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill him or her. Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path.

The power of words: it is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in difficult times. It is a special individual who will take the time to encourage another.
Be special to others.

New Song!! =D

Hmm.. Hey peepz!
Check out the new music on my blog! =D

Its composed by my friend, Thomas Wong... He's just a super talented guitarist.... =)

He composed it specially for Faye and Louis' wedding...

And I played the piano section for this song! =P

No script, no preperation, no warning...
Just spontaneous =D

The piano accompanyment just came into mind just seconds before each section came out....

ha! I amaze myself...

but it still needs lots of improvement...

=D

Do give some comments!
*blink*

haha... He just sent me a really sweet message... He tried calling me a few times, but I fell asleep in front of my computer, so I missed the calls...

so sorry dear...

it went something like :

"Hey... I know you must be asleep already... So I just wanted to tell you I love you... and I know you must be tired with me calling you everyday... But dont blame me, I just have to talk you to to tell you I love you every day and every hour, ever minute and every second... *hugz*"

he's just so sweet....

I feel I've disappointed him so many times, with my attitude and temper sometimes... But I really love him...

ha!

He loves me too =D
